This frog and snail open salt is one of our most iconic pieces. Made of silver plate, it has been a talking point at dinner parties for the last 20 years. This piece is fun, beautifully made and a highly useful table top gift. The inside of the snail shell has a smooth finish and is lined in gold plate, to protect the salt from corroding the metal. To prevent the silver from tarnishing we recommend a regular clean with an impregnated silver cloth. For maintenance purposes, salt should not be left in the salt pourer for long periods as it will corrode the silver over time, we recommend filling the piece up on the day of use. Each piece comes with it's own silver plated spoon.
